Grumco was founded by Michael Grummer in 1991 in Ballard Washington. he bought the business from his father in-law and took his vast management skills to bring grumco to a higher level of business. We originally started as a window covering manufacturer that designed and installed blinds and drapery for our customer base. Slowly but surely we became one of the largest window covering companies in the Pacific Northwest. Soon after that we signed with a number of home improvement providers offering partnership to install their products. This lead to a partnerships with Home Depot , which opened us up to an even larger customer base from there 46 stores in western Washington. Not too long after we began partnering with more home improvement providers like Lowes, Great Floors ,Blinds.com, Double Eagle and many more.
